Word Search: from controls to your first round
Read the aim of Word Search, then make your first move. Find every listed word in a 10×10 grid. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Use the example below to understand a decision.

One thing to notice as you play

The objective of a round
Find every listed word in a 10×10 grid. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Start with a deliberate move.
From the start of a round
- Select the first and last letter of a straight word.
- Words can run horizontally, vertically or diagonally, in either direction.
- Find all eight targets.
- New puzzle shuffles again.

An example before you play
Selecting the endpoints in reverse order also finds the same word. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Notice the change in the playing area.
